It is cohesive training designed to teach filmmaking in the best possible manner, at a pace customized for each individual.
During the Write & Direct core training you will complete a film that you can submit to film festivals and even get on IMDb. You’ll perform all positions from Writer to Gaffer, DP, Director, Editor and so much more.

However, most aspiring filmmakers can’t afford the day rates of experienced crew. When you learn how to do it all, you remove your dependency on others. You also become a more experienced director so that in the future you can better work with crew members.
Your primary instructor is Kyler Boudreau.
Kyler attended film school in Los Angeles in 2005 and witnessed the sobering reality of life after graduation. He worked as a PA on two studio films and then jumped into independent filmmaking as an editor.
After cutting a few feature length films, Kyler moved to writing and ultimately directing.
Filmmaking is his passion, with his latest production RECKONING scheduled for release in the fall of 2023.
Write & Direct is an online film school designed to maximize learning time.
Students move at their own pace through online courses. Assignments and quizzes ensure crucial information is understood and retained. A private community allows for discussion and questions where Kyler participates on a daily basis.
